Information for 2006 (Posted 1st June 2006)

District County Trial

32 players from 10 clubs within the Edinburgh West District have already registered to take part in the trial for the County team.

Any Club not already registered their players should do so by 6th June at the latest.

The trial will be held on Saturday 10th June at Bainfield Bowling Club.

Players should report at 9.30am in order that the game can start at 10am sharp.

The 18 selected players will represent Edinburgh West in the Inter-District game which will be held at Headwell Bowling Club, Dunfermline on Saturday 29th July2006.

National Playdowns

The Playdowns for Edinburgh West will be held at Bainfield Bowling Club on Saturday 24th June.

Players should report at 9.30am in order that the games can start at 10am sharp.

Vice President's Trophy

Watch this space for the names of the four players selected to represent Edinburgh West in the event.

The District were represented at the "Alan Michie" Vice President's Trophy at Stranraer BC by Kelsey Black, Cheryl Baptie, Steven Pringle and Craig McArthur.

The trial for the County Team will take place on Saturday 11th June at Bainfield Bowling Club.

Those selected will represent Edinburgh West in the Area Finals which will be held at Bainfield Bowling Club on Saturday 9th July.

District playdowns will take place on Saturday 25th June at Bainfield Bowling Club.
