Crookston BC hosted the Glasgow South Under 14 Rinks.

All week the weather had threatened, but on the day we had a lovely sunny day.

Starting at 10am the 10 teams played all day in the round robin format of 40 minute games.

A lot of bowling for Under 14 youngsters but all managed to maintain a very high standard through to the Semi Finals and Final.

The Final was between Darnley BC and Crookston BC.

It was a very tense final with Darnley taking an early lead and Crookston having to play catch up.

Crookston shifted up a gear towards the end of the 40 minutes and produced some stunning deliveries to edge into a winning lead.

The Crookston team is Paul Allison, Stephen McDonnell, Chris Moran and Ryan Doro (skip).

Selectors also chose a squad to represent Glasgow South at Stranraer BC on Sunday 12th June.
